lovely happy day

Today was pretty cool. I worked from 5a-10a. Around 9, this woman came up to get some coffee. In the cafe, we have a flat screen tv for guests to watch in the lobby (oh yeah, I work in a hotel cafe that serves Starbucks). Well I had it on the today show and they broke in with Academy Award nominations. I was making small talk with the lady about how I could never get through awards shows, etc. She mentioned that she really wanted to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and I told her it was good and that I only cried a little bit. Then I said "It wasn't like Marley & Me. I cried through the ENTIRE LAST HALF HOUR of that movie!!" and she goes "I did that movie! I trained all the puppies!" it was super cool. I'm such an animal person, I've never lived with less than 2 dogs and 2 cats the entire time I lived with my Mom, and I survived exactly a month without any animals when I moved down to South Carolina. I talked to her for a good 10-15 minutes. She also told me that she was there when they shot one of the end super-sad scenes and said that the director, the entire crew, AND the trainer were all crying! really cool conversation.

When I got home, I continued reading Wide Awake, it's a Twilight fanfiction where Edward and Bella are both human. everyone is freaking out over it. I printed 3 chapters yesterday and read that at work, now I'm on chapter 5 and I have to say, it's pretty good.

Theeeeen I went and sent out an order for a felted bowl. And got some chinese food (mmmmmmmmmmmm). And watched some dvr Bad Girl's Club. I'm addicted to that show. Now I'm super sleepy. I guess sitting around in bed eating chinese food will do that to a girl!
